Lyndsay has been an occupational therapy practitioner for the past 10 years. Although she has worked in many different settings throughout her career, she specializes in school-based practice/pediatrics. Lyndsay currently works as a fulltime assistant professor and academic fieldwork coordinator for Salt Lake Community College’s occupational therapy assistant program. She also provides occupational therapy services to a local charter school. She loves teaching and considers it a privilege to share her passion and knowledge with future practitioners. Not only is Lyndsay committed to the profession of occupational therapy, but the concept of occupational justice: She is constantly seeking opportunities to provide services to underserved populations. As a South African native, she believes strongly in the Ubuntu philosophy – the idea that a universal bond connects all of humanity.
