Carrie is an award-winning journalist turned public relations pro living in Chicago. She graduated in 2007 from Winona State University in Minnesota, earning a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications (journalism) and Spanish. Her experience ranges from reporter and editor to agency executive, grant writer, and media relations director. No matter the job title, her passion of telling stories for the betterment of communities shines through. Most recently, Carrie served as the associate director of public relations and social media for Adler University, a nonprofit graduate school in downtown Chicago dedicated to social justice and leveling the playing field for people in marginalized populations.
